Paul Benyon

Paul Benyon graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering. He joined BT in 1979 where he has worked on projects in a wide variety of areas including digital transmission, computer aided-design for VLSI, DSP code generation and management information systems.

He is currently working in the Customer Networks Research Group specializing in the development of advanced component-based systems for home and small office networking environments using Java and XML. He is a member of the IEE.

Outside work, Paul's in heavily involved in Martlesham Brass band where conducts and plays tuba as well as creating and arranging music. He also plays several other instruments including double bass as part of Woodbridge Orchestral Society.
