Alex Healing

About me

Alex is a Research Scientist in the Future Technologies Group in the Pervasive ICT Research Centre of BT Group Chief Technology Office. He received an honours degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh before joining BT in 2005.

His prime research interests are Multi-Agent Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Peer-to-Peer Networks, Soft Computing, Semantic Web, and Complex Systems.

My Work

I am currently working on the Phase II DIF DTC project, Hyperion, where I am technical lead for Nexus, an autonomic middleware for decentralised service-oriented information fusion.

My work has so far generated three patent application filings.
