Xuanye Gu
Biography
Dr. Xuanye Gu is a Senior Research Scientist in the Mobility Research Centre at the BT Adastral Park. He has a first degree in telecommunication engineering (China), a MBA degree and a PhD in optical communications (both from UK).
Since joining BT in 1997, his main research activities has been in the areas of data traffic modelling, performance of wireless multiple access systems, ultra wideband systems and propagation channels. His current research area includes broadband wireless access, wireless MIMO systems, adaptive and cooperative communication networks, radio frequency interference, wireless LANs and mesh networks.
Xuanye has published over 40 papers in journals and conferences. He is a reviewer and a technical committee member for many international journals and conferences in the area of wireless communications and mobile computing. He gives annual guest lectures at the Aston University and the University of East London on wireless mobile systems. He is a member of the IEEE and IEEE Communication Society.
