Tim Twell

Biography

Tim is a Graduate in Computer Science with over 25 years programming experience in C, C++, and now, for preference, Java (having 'cut his teeth' on Basic, Pascal, and various Assembly languages).

He has experience in Speech, and Pattern, Recognition; Language Translation; Web-based Multimodal systems; and Mobile Java(J2ME) applications; and also in network design & programming, and in concurrent systems.

His research interests are in concurrent systems, networked applications, privacy, and security.
