Raffaele Giaffreda

Biography

Raffaele is currently a network research scientist at BT and his research interests include context-aware networks and information management systems for optimised service delivery and mobile users support.

He has contributed to several European collaborative projects in the area of wireless technologies and systems Beyond 3G and he is currently the WP leader of the Context, Policy and Network Management work-package in the 6FP EU project Ambient Networks.

Raffaele received his First Degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy in 1995 and his MSc in Telecom Engineering from University of London in 2001 and he is currently a part-time PhD student with Imperial College of London.
