Maziar Nekovee

Biography

Maziar Nekovee is a Senior Scientist at BT and a Royal Society Industry Fellow at the Centre for Computational Science, University College London. He obtained his MSc in electrical engineering (cum laude) from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and his PhD in theoretical and computational physics from the University of Nijmegen, also in the Netherlands. Dr Nekovee’s research cuts across several disciplines and involves extensive collaborations with industrial and academic researchers. Current research areas include theory and applications of complex networks, vehicular communications networks and their applications to intelligent transportation systems, cognitive radio networks and dynamic spectrum access. Maziar is the author of over 50 papers in international journals and conferences and has a number of patents to his name.
