Jiayuan Chen

Biography

Jiayuan Chen is a PhD student at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London (UCL). She graduated from the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications China with a first class BEng in Information Engineering in 2003 and obtained her MSc with Distinction in Computing Technology from the University of East London in 2004.

Her main research work has been in the areas of transmit power control and routing protocols for wireless ad hoc and sensor networks. Her current research activities include medium access control, dynamic channel allocations for 802.11 WLANs and optimisation techniques for broadband wireless access systems.

Jiayuan is a member of IET and IEEE.
